
Xiamen International Marathon 2026
The 2026 Xiamen Marathon, the year's first World Athletics Platinum Label road race, kicks off on Sunday with a strong international field.
The C&D Xiamen Marathon (Chinese: 建发厦门马拉松赛; pinyin: Jiànfā Xiàmén Mǎlāsōng Sài) is an annual marathon race organized by the Xiamen Municipal Government in the coastal city of Xiamen, Fujian province, People's Republic of China. Traditionally held every January, it is the first Platinum Label event to start the year.
The C&D Xiamen Marathon began in 2003 and was the IAAF Gold Label Road Race. After 18 years of successful execution, the C&D Xiamen Marathon has earned a 2021 World Athletics Elite Platinum Label. It is renowned for its picturesque coastal course, which traces the scenic routes of the city.
