Sustainability
Founded in 2010, Xiamen Green Field Co., LTD. is a reliable and trusted vendor of bags products, Home and Garden, Promotional Gift products and programs across world. We work to be part of our client's strategic direction - not just a supplier but a vested partner and collaborator. Our core purpose is to develop products and promotions that "make a difference", create awareness and heighten the senses of the people who 'touch' our product, resulting in a memorable experience that enhances our client's brand and message. We hold a deep respect for our environment, recognizing that industrial innovation must coexist with ecological preservation. Today at Green Field, we do our best to carry on their vision through our product designs, manufacturing processes, quality control, and environmental mindfulness.
Below are some of the efforts we are making to ensure that we honor this heritage:
Product Durability
Our products are designed and manufactured according to strict quality guidelines. We take great care to ensure that our products meet the needs of our users. From fabric selection to our production process, quality control, and wear testing, every step is focused on creating purpose-built products that will provide many years of service to our customers. In simple terms, the longer our products last, the fewer resources are consumed, which helps reduce our carbon footprint in landfills.
Our Suppliers
Our fabric and component suppliers have been inspected and certified to the ISO 140001 standard, GRS, OCS. GOTS, OEKO-TEX and BSCI audited approved. Meeting these standards means that our suppliers have effective environmental and waste management systems in place to reduce their impacts on the environment.
In addition, our leather suppliers are certified under the Leather Working Group (LWG). Leather manufacturing can have a significant adverse impact to the environment due to the chemicals involved in the tanning process. Being LWG certified, however, signifies that our leather suppliers have robust environmental management systems in place and the hides they source can be traced back up the supply chain to the original hide processors.
Furthermore, if you need certification for raw materials or packaging materials, we can locate the right partner supplier, or you can specify one, as we have extensive experience in this area.
Chemicals
Our fabric and component suppliers are Oeko-Tex certified, meaning that materials used in our goods do not contain banned substances or levels of restricted substances that would impact human health and the environment.
Water Conservation
Our Custom Shop has invested in an advanced water reclamation system for our screen-printing operations. Since implementing this system, we have significantly reduced the amount of water needed for our operations, estimating annual savings of approximately 60,500 gallons.
Energy Reduction
We use LED bulb in all our offices and production halls and have installed motion sensors to illuminate work areas only when necessary. We have also installed industrial ventilation louvers and large fans throughout our warehouse to cool our facility while reducing the use of air conditioning system.
Carton Recycling
Like many bag and consumer goods brands, we ship most of our products in cardboard cartons which are partially derived from recycled materials. And we have a carton recycling program plan as below:
Construction of a Comprehensive Recycling System
1. Closed-Loop Design for Production Line
Recycling boxes will be installed in the raw material storage area, production workshop, and finished product packaging area.
2. Material Upgrading and Process Optimization
We will adopt honeycomb paperboard technology to replace traditional corrugated paper. This change is expected to reduce raw material consumption by 30% while enhancing compressive strength to at least 800 kPa. Additionally, we will utilize biodegradable water-based ink for printing, ensuring that the deinking rate of recycled cartons exceeds 95% and preventing chemical pollution in the recycling process.
The Future
Recycled fabrics:
As science and technology advance and environmental awareness grows, the use of recycled materials is becoming increasingly popular. While our products are currently made from virgin materials, the adoption of recycled materials is on the rise. We are actively exploring the development of recycled materials in hopes of sourcing a viable alternative to virgin materials that will meets our standards and the needs of our end users.
Our Employees
We encourage our staff to actively think about how we can contribute to the world we live in. We support staff initiatives and promote employee involvement in giving to the community.
Employee education and development is a strong focus at Green Field and we encourage our staff members to undertake company funded training and professional development courses.
